Description

Super Group International is seeking a TM1 Product Consultant to support the delivery, implementation, and support of IBM Planning Analytics across a global business. This includes requirements gathering, stakeholder management, backlog maintenance, analysis, UAT, and project management. Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, financial reporting, planning platforms, and EPM tools, along with a strong finance background, will be highly advantageous. This role will help Super Group International innovate, automate, enhance, and simplify its processes, giving users faster, more accurate results so the business can make faster, better-informed decisions to stay ahead of the game.

The consultant will take ownership of work that gives Super Group International its competitive edge. They will apply their finance knowledge and business understanding to forecast planning, reporting, and decision-making processes. The role involves finding ways to continuously improve processes within current systems, taking a proactive rather than reactive approach. They will troubleshoot and solve problematic and complex user queries alongside TM1 and BI developers, and translate business and client requests into technical requirements, creating comprehensive project roadmaps and ensuring delivery as effectively and efficiently as possible. The consultant will gather, analyse, document, and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and supporting documentation. They will be involved in defining development best practices and applying them across the wider team, and support end users with the IBM Planning Analytics (TM1, PAX, PAW) system and related reporting solutions.

Stakeholder management is a key aspect of the role, including acting as the primary point of contact for the TM1 application, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders, gathering and defining business requirements, and managing the backlog. The consultant will assist with product, system, process, and business continuity documentation to support users and future enhancements. They will work with the Scrum Team and PO Manager to deliver key milestones, including managing and prioritising the story backlog to ensure delivered work meets expectations. The role also involves supporting and contributing to the evolution of the organisation's reporting and analytics landscape, including exposure to Microsoft Fabric and similar financial reporting and planning platforms. Regular updates will be provided to stakeholders on strategy, successes, learnings, and progress against the product vision. The consultant will maintain overall ownership of the product backlog, keeping Business and Technology Teams informed of work delivered.

Responsibilities
  • Test and deploy multidimensional cubes.
  • Design user interfaces for capturing data; knowledge of PAW reports.
  • Post-deployment support and maintenance.

  • Continually search for new and useful ways to obtain, integrate, analyse and visualise data that is relevant to the company's business model, leveraging platforms such as IBM Planning Analytics, Microsoft Fabric and other reporting technologies where appropriate.
  • Apply finance knowledge and business understanding to forecast planning, reporting and decision-making processes.
  • Find ways to continuously improve processes within current systems, taking a proactive rather than reactive approach.

  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends (nice-to-have)
