Automation QA Engineer

The Automation QA Engineer will join the mission of improving a world-class iGaming platform and be responsible for testing applications of various types and user segments, monitoring the procedures, and implementing the quality standards.
- Extend automation coverage by working closely with developers to automate test cases and scenarios.
- Maintain and enhance existing test frameworks, and develop new testing tools when needed.
- Execute and maintain automation scripts for new features and regression testing.
- Convert project specifications (functional and design) into effective test scenarios at the appropriate testing layer.
- Collaborate with QA team members to define and follow best practices in testing and automation.
- Take initiative in identifying gaps and suggesting improvements to product quality and testing processes.
- Perform manual testing when needed.
- 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, primarily testing web applications in a software development environment (required)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, preferably using Playwright or Cypress (required)
- Solid experience with JavaScript and TypeScript for writing and maintaining automated tests (required)
- Knowledge of C# is a plus, especially for working with automation frameworks like NUnit or similar (nice-to-have)
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end (E2E), integration, and API tests (required)
- Strong knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST clients, or similar tools), including validation of responses and test data setup (required)
- Experience with test frameworks and tools such as Playwright Test, Cypress (required)
- Good understanding of test automation best practices, including page object models, reusable components, and test stability (required)
- Hands-on experience in manual testing (required)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) (required)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and code review processes (required)
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies (required)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills (required)
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility (required)
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify quality risks (required)
