Senior Automation QA Engineer
The Quality Engineering team is looking for an experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of products by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation solutions.
The engineer will work closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and QA Engineers. They will contribute to automation strategy, quality improvements, and engineering best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and improve backend automated tests using C#/.NET.
- Develop and maintain frontend automated tests using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Design and execute automated API, UI, integration, and regression test suites.
- Validate REST APIs, WebSocket services, and database data.
- Design, execute, and maintain performance and load tests using JMeter.
- Create, maintain, and manage test data for automation and testing activities.
- Collaborate closely with Manual QA Engineers and Software Engineers throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, test strategy, and test case design.
- Maintain and manage test cases using TestRail.
- Track defects and collaborate with development teams using Jira.
- Utilize AI tools to improve QA processes, productivity, and test automation workflows.
- Create and maintain AI helper agents to support testing activities.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and quality standards.
- 3+ years of experience in Automation Quality Assurance (required)
- Strong understanding of QA processes, SDLC, and STLC (required)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (required)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills (required)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams (required)
- Proficiency in technical English (required)
- Mentorship experience (preferred)
- Strong experience with C#/.NET for backend automation (required)
- Hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript (required)
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles (required)
- Experience with automation frameworks such as NUnit or MsTest (required)
- Hands-on experience with REST API and WebSocket automation (required)
- Strong SQL knowledge, including complex queries, joins, and data validation (required)
- Experience with JMeter for performance and load testing (required)
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman (required)
- Experience with debugging/proxy tools such as Charles Proxy or Fiddler (required)
- Good understanding of Git version control (required)
- Experience with TestRail or similar test management systems (required)
- Experience with Jira or similar project management tools (required)
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini) in QA processes (required)
- Experience creating and utilizing AI helper agents for QA activities (required)
