Senior Reporting Specialist
The Senior Reporting Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality financial and operational reports. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting to support management decision-making and regulatory requirements.
The specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyse data, improve reporting processes, and implement best practices.
- Prepare and deliver regular (monthly, quarterly, annual) financial and management reports.
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and insights.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Develop and maintain reporting models, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business units to gather and validate data.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports requested by senior management.
- Monitor data quality and implement improvements where needed.
- Assist in audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Document reporting processes, methodologies, and data sources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree (preferred).
- 3–5+ years of experience in reporting, finance, or data analysis (required).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (required).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) (required).
- Experience with ERP systems (required).
- Knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles (required).
- High attention to detail and accuracy (required).
- Strong organisational and time management skills (required).
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities (required).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment (required).
- Experience in international reporting or IFRS standards (required).
- Familiarity with SQL or data querying tools (required).
- Process improvement and automation mindset (required).
- Ability to handle large datasets and complex reporting structures (required).
