Access Control Engineer
As a Security Technology Engineer, you’ll drive how DraftKings protects and scales its global operations by managing and optimising electronic security platforms across its properties. You’ll lead system upgrades, shape technical solutions, and ensure performance, reliability, and compliance at every level.
Working closely with cross-functional teams and vendors, you’ll deliver secure, scalable systems that keep pace with a fast-moving business.
- Design and implement scalable security technology solutions that align with business needs and integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure.
- Lead and contribute to design phases (preconceptual through construction), ensuring alignment with security standards and operational goals.
- Review and refine vendor SOWs, technical designs, and cost estimates to drive quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver strong engineering outcomes from concept through execution.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and optimise electronic security platforms with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach.
- Research emerging technologies, support Global Security & Surveillance initiatives, and maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and stakeholder alignment across all projects.
- High school diploma (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (preferred)
- 5+ years with integrated electronic security systems or 3+ years in pre-sales engineering/support (required)
- Relevant certifications (PMP, CPP, Genetec preferred) (preferred)
- Experience with networking, IP configuration, or related technologies (required)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and handle sensitive information (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Word) (required)
- Experience with AutoCAD or Bluebeam (nice-to-have)
- Ability to obtain a state gaming license (required)
- Ability to travel as needed (10–15%) (required)
- Experience with CCTV/video surveillance (nice-to-have)
- Base salary range of 103,700.00 USD to 129,600.00 USD
