- Build engaging, reliable Android applications using Kotlin and modern frameworks like Jetpack Compose.
- Translate designs into seamless features, collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver user-focused experiences.
- Integrate APIs, manage data efficiently, and optimise performance to ensure the app runs at scale.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to improve code quality and maintainability.
- Contribute to technical decisions that shape mobile architecture and influence future development.
- Stay current with Android tools, trends, and best practices to continuously expand expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any relevant combination of education, experience, and training. (required)
- At least 1 year of experience building and shipping Android applications using Kotlin. (required)
- Familiarity with Android architecture patterns such as MVC or MVVM. (required)
- A willingness to learn Jetpack Compose and other modern UI frameworks. (required)
- Basic understanding of API integration and data persistence. (required)
- Enthusiasm for writing clean, maintainable code and contributing to team quality practices. (required)
