Finance Analyst - Budgeting
The organisation is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and managing budgets, analysing cost drivers, monitoring spend across departments, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Working closely with Finance, Commercial & Marketing, Product, Operations, People, and Compliance teams, the Financial Analyst will help ensure the business achieves its financial objectives while operating within budgetary requirements.
- Support the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assist department leaders in developing detailed operating budgets.
- Monitor budget performance and provide regular budget-to-actual analysis.
- Identify budget risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Support financial planning processes in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with budget reviews and management reporting requirements.
- Ensure financial data integrity and consistency across reporting systems.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance budgeting, forecasting, and reporting efficiency.
- Experience working with large datasets and performance analytics (nice-to-have).
- Previous experience within the iGaming, online gaming, betting, fintech, or digital entertainment industry (preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, budgeting, or commercial finance (nice-to-have).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required).
- Knowledge of XERO and financial planning systems (nice-to-have).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities (required).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy (required).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (required).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, data-driven environment (required).
