People Team Coordinator
The People Team Coordinator will provide dedicated support to the Chief People Officer, enabling the wider People function to operate effectively. This role is central to ensuring the Chief People Officer and People leadership team can focus on strategic priorities by maintaining strong operational discipline, managing priorities, driving follow-through, and delivering high-quality outputs.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to senior leadership, organisational strategy, and the inner workings of a fast-paced People function.
- Provide proactive diary and priority management for the Chief People Officer, ensuring time is aligned to key business and strategic priorities.
- Coordinate complex scheduling across senior stakeholders, often balancing competing demands.
- Act as a key liaison point to ensure the Chief People Officer’s day runs efficiently and effectively.
- Attend key meetings with the Chief People Officer and People leadership team to capture clear, concise minutes and outcomes.
- Track actions and drive follow-ups, ensuring deadlines are met and accountability is maintained.
- Support agenda setting and preparation of high-quality pre-read materials.
- Support the Chief People Officer in preparing reports, board materials, and internal updates.
- Create high-quality, polished PowerPoint presentations for senior audiences.
- Gather and synthesise information from across the business into clear, structured outputs.
- Provide day-to-day coordination support across the People team to ensure smooth execution of priorities.
- Support planning and organisation of key People initiatives, meetings, and events.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, organisation, and ways of working.
- Assist with tracking People budgets and monitoring spend.
- Support processing of invoices, expenses, and purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate documentation to support reporting and governance.
- Provide flexible, ad hoc support aligned to Chief People Officer and People team priorities.
- Support cross-functional projects as required, ensuring strong organisation and follow-through.
- Experience in a coordination, administrative, or executive support role (required)
- People/HR exposure (preferred)
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing demands (required)
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of delivery (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with senior stakeholders (required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) (required)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion (required)
