Mid Software Engineer
EveryMatrix is looking for a dedicated Mid Software Engineer to join their team in Thailand. The successful candidate will work on a framework built on top of ReactJS, which is a project designed to deliver white-label websites with increased efficiency.
As part of the core framework team, the engineer will be responsible for tackling complex technical challenges and contributing to the development of high-quality software solutions.
- Adhere to pre-established task delivery deadlines and estimate development time for assigned tasks.
- Implement assigned tasks as closely as possible to the provided estimations.
- Test implemented tasks on all necessary devices and popular browsers to prevent incidents in production.
- Log development time spent on tasks in Jira.
- Understand and comply with coding standards and promote clean code practices.
- Assist junior colleagues through code reviews and constructive feedback.
- Actively participate in code reviews to ensure standards are followed and the rationale for changes is understood.
- Identify the need for and perform code refactoring.
- Implement improvements and offer solutions to enhance project scalability, stability, and performance.
- Document work and maintain up-to-date code comments according to project standards.
- Handle incidents according to defined SLAs and project processes.
- Contribute to best practices knowledge sharing and maintain close collaboration with team members and project management.
- Participate in daily meetings to discuss and resolve project issues.
- Three to five years of previous experience in a similar role (required).
- Proficiency in Vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (required).
- Proven experience in creating fast-performing interfaces using React and Redux (required).
- Proven experience with REST web services and/or web APIs (required).
- Basic knowledge of OOP and Data Access/Management (required).
