Senior FullStack Developer
EveryMatrix is looking for a dedicated Senior FullStack Developer to join the team in Bucharest. This role involves taking ownership of the design, development, and delivery of complex features and automation solutions across the full stack.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving technical decisions, mentoring colleagues, and ensuring the maintainability and scalability of existing codebases. The position requires a proactive approach to incident management, CI/CD pipelines, and architectural improvements within a fast-paced environment.
- Own the design, development, and delivery of complex features and automation solutions across the stack.
- Define, enforce, and continuously improve internal coding standards, operational processes, and best practices.
- Refactor, optimize, and extend existing codebases and automation scripts with a focus on maintainability, performance, and scalability.
- Lead code reviews, set quality expectations, and mentor junior and mid-level colleagues.
- Ensure comprehensive testing and documentation across owned areas.
- Take ownership of incident management, CI/CD pipelines, and operational support, including root cause analysis and prevention.
- Drive technical decisions and contribute actively to architectural discussions and long-term technical direction.
- Break down complex initiatives into deliverable tasks, provide reliable estimates, and communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.
- Handle high-complexity incidents end to end and act as an escalation point for the team.
- Share knowledge proactively and contribute to the team's overall technical growth.
- 5+ years of professional experience in fullstack development (required).
- Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (required).
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, REST API design, and automation (required).
- Deep understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, data structures, and system design fundamentals (required).
- Proficiency with Git, Linux environments, and CI/CD pipelines (required).
- Proven track record of improving code quality, test coverage, and development processes (required).
- Strong communication skills, including mentoring, giving structured feedback, and cross-team collaboration (required).
- Ability to work fully autonomously, take ownership, and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment (required).
- Advanced English (writing and speaking) (required).
- Start with 22 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 32 days by your fifth year.
