Due Diligence Specialist
The Due Diligence Specialist is responsible for collecting, evaluating, reviewing, organising, and verifying all customer details and corporate documentation in line with internal company procedures, as part of the AML/Due Diligence Team.
This role involves assisting in carrying out spot checks on customers, in addition to the daily CDD process. The specialist will review CDD documentation, with a particular focus on corporate structures and entity types in North America. Collaboration with colleagues from different teams and departments regarding the status of the due diligence process is also a key aspect, as is reviewing due diligence documentation for international entities when requested.
The position requires communicating independently and professionally with external clients on all KYC-related matters, and liaising with clients to gather detailed information and supporting documentation required to complete the CDD. The role also entails assessing US and Canada AML compliance requirements as part of the due diligence process, escalating high-risk or complex cases to senior compliance staff as appropriate, and ensuring that all incoming queries are dealt with accurately and in a timely manner. Monitoring the company's internal due diligence portal and keeping it up-to-date, as well as undertaking any ad hoc duties as and when required, are also part of the responsibilities.

- 1 year of relevant experience in the field of KYC and Due Diligence, preferably in a client-facing role (required).
- Relevant academic coursework or educational background may substitute for required professional experience (required).
- Basic understanding of due diligence and Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) regulations (required).
- Experience with US corporate compliance and knowledge of different US entity structures (e.g., LLCs, corporations, partnerships) is highly desirable (preferred).
- Experience working with international teams and cross-border entities is an asset (nice-to-have).
- Experience in the gaming industry is an asset (nice-to-have).
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure (required).
- Fluency in both written and verbal English (required).
- An eye for detail and an investigative nature (required).
- Strong analytical skills, willingness to learn, a team player as well as comfortable in working independently (required).
