Junior Technical Compliance Specialist
Evolution is seeking a Technical Compliance Specialist for European markets to join the brand division. The role involves reviewing technical requirements, evaluating them, providing compliance advice to the business, and ensuring that games are certified and approved in a timely manner. The primary focus is to support the delivery of projects across both new and established markets.
The specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all products remain compliant with technical regulations and industry best practices. This includes researching requirements, coordinating product certifications, and maintaining accurate documentation within the company's compliance library. The role requires effective communication with internal departments, external customers, and accredited testing facilities to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Ensure the company remains compliant with technical regulations and stays abreast of regulatory developments and evolving best practices in compliance controls.
- Research technical requirements for both new and existing markets and help develop solutions that meet them.
- Coordinate, process, and monitor Evolution products and features compliance with all relevant technical regulations in European markets.
- Maintain knowledge and assist in keeping an up-to-date and accurate library or database of technical product compliance processes and procedures.
- Communicate efficiently and maintain or develop strong and positive relationships with accredited testing facilities, internal departments, external customers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that all products are certified and approved as per jurisdictional standards.
- Maintain a library of technical standard documents and keep accurate and up-to-date records for product certifications.
- Develop project plans and track progress, prepare and maintain status reports and schedules, track milestones or deliverables and dependencies, and manage expectations to ensure work is delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Participate in onsite or remote internal or external meetings and conferences with other teams, regulatory authorities, customers, or other external parties.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken (required).
- Additional language skills are beneficial but not essential (e.g., Dutch, Greek, German, or Finnish would be an advantage).
- Understanding of the iGaming business framework: B2Bs, B2Cs and regulated markets best practices (required).
- Experience working on Live or RNG games verticals (required).
- A relevant University Degree, ideally in Information Systems or Computer Sciences, or industry experience in a comparable field (required).
- Understanding of typical games and platforms setups and development in the industry (required).
- Experience in project management (required).
- Experience in using the Microsoft Office suite (at least Excel and Word) (required).
- 2 years of technical compliance experience in iGaming, performing a similar role (nice-to-have).
- Understanding or experience in audit processes (nice-to-have).
- Experience in the use of software such as Jira and Confluence (nice-to-have).
- Understanding or experience on certifications and audits of games, systems and physical devices (nice-to-have).
- An ISO 27001 or CISA certification or similar auditor qualification (nice-to-have).
