Payroll Accountant
Evolution is looking for a Payroll Accountant to manage payroll accounting and employment-related benefits. The role involves ensuring accurate tax calculations and reporting to the relevant authorities.
The Payroll Accountant will review timesheets, work charts, and wage computations to detect and reconcile any payroll discrepancies. They will be responsible for initiating and processing payroll in a timely manner while ensuring all procedures comply with governmental laws and policies.
Additionally, the role requires consulting with colleagues on payroll-related queries and compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages. The Payroll Accountant will also provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Accounting of payroll and employment-related benefits.
- Tax calculations and reporting to relevant authorities.
- Reviewing of timesheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Initiating and processing payroll timely and ensuring all payroll procedures are in line with governmental laws and policies.
- Consulting colleagues on various payroll-related questions.
- Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages as part of report preparation.
- Providing support during the audits and liaising with external auditors.
- Professional accounting experience of a minimum of 1 year (required).
- Oral and written knowledge of English and Lithuanian (required).
- Loyalty, ability to work in a team (required).
- Quick orientation, responsibility, diligence (required).
- Willingness to learn and improve (required).
- Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) skills (required).
- Experience with Business Central/Navision application (nice-to-have).
