Description

Evolution is looking for an experienced Product Operations Manager or Head of Design Operations to drive operational excellence across its Design Department. The role involves working closely with Design Managers and the Creative Director to streamline processes, improve collaboration, and ensure effective delivery across multiple design disciplines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining scalable processes and standards while ensuring visibility of team capacity, resources, and project timelines. This position plays a key role in supporting the department through backlog management, prioritisation, and performance analysis to ensure the successful realisation of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Drive operational alignment across the entire Design Department.
  • Partner with Design Managers and the Creative Director to ensure strategic and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across UI, UX, Game Art, Motion, Studio, and other design teams.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve scalable processes and standards.
  • Ensure visibility of team capacity, resources, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
  • Support Design Managers with backlog management, prioritisation, resource planning, and OKR tracking.
  • Own and maintain the Product Wiki as the central source of truth for processes and standards.
  • Monitor and report on department KPIs, operational metrics, and performance insights.
  • Optimise Jira frameworks and operational workflows to support project delivery and resource planning.
  • Coordinate branding-related initiatives across the Product Department.
  • Proactively identify and communicate risks, blockers, dependencies, and delays.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education (required).
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken (required).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in Agile and/or Lean environments (required).
  • Practical experience with Scrum, Kanban, and other project management frameworks (required).
  • Proficiency in Jira, including workflow management, sprint planning, backlog administration, dashboard creation, reporting, and delivery tracking (required).
  • Strong expertise in project planning, estimation, risk management, and dependency tracking (required).
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (required).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (required).
  • Strategic mindset with strong organisational and planning abilities (required).
  • Highly self-organised, proactive, and results-oriented (required).
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability (required).
