Purchasing Coordinator
Evolution is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join its international Procurement team at the company's upcoming studio in Moreno, Argentina. The role involves managing the procurement of equipment and services requested by internal departments while ensuring all data and documentation are maintained according to internal procedures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing purchase requisitions, issuing purchase orders, and managing local purchases that require physical presence. The role also includes tracking orders, monitoring lead times, managing supplier communication, and handling warranty claims or returns to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain procurement data and documentation in accordance with internal procedures.
- Monitor and process goods and services purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders from established contracts and suppliers.
- Execute purchases that require physical presence, including fast or last minute purchases from local stores.
- Track orders by monitoring lead times to delivery and managing communication with suppliers and internal customers regarding delays or non-compliant specifications.
- Assist in the process of warranty claims, returns, and similar issues with suppliers.
- Obtain and keep up to date with duty, VAT, and other similar taxes and charges in the countries where the company operates.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience (required).
- Experience in purchasing equipment and services (preferred).
- Advanced English level (required).
- High awareness of procurement and purchasing processes and systems (required).
- Secondary or higher education (required).
- Good organisational and time-management skills (required).
- Sufficient interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team (required).
- Good communication skills (required).
- High sense of responsibility and integrity (required).
- Knowledge of MS Excel (required).
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Nav (required).
