QA Automation Engineer (Front-end team)
As a QA Automation Engineer on the Frontend team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, design, and architecture of the test case execution framework and its associated test cases. Working within a team of Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, and Designers, the role focuses on creating new functionality for user interfaces and frontend features.
The primary focus involves building and automating test suites using Cypress to manage player actions across various online casino games. The role requires identifying, reproducing, and logging issues, while collaborating closely with developers on resolution, validation, and deployment. Additionally, the engineer will perform manual validations on real iOS and Android devices for scenarios that cannot be automated, while adhering to modern industry best practices for clean and performant code.
- Review requirements, specifications, and designs of new features and mechanics, pinpointing potential for defect risk cases.
- Create detailed and comprehensive QA strategies and test plans for new product features and releases.
- Work closely with Developers and fellow QA Engineers to develop, refine and update automated tests.
- Design and execute test plans on new product and feature releases.
- Identify, reproduce, and log all issues found.
- Collaborate with developers on issue resolution, validation, and deployment to production.
- Perform manual validations on real iOS and Android devices for scenarios that cannot be automated.
- Experience with Cypress (required)
- Experience with testing UI on mobile/desktop platforms (required)
- Experience with Git or other similar version control systems (required)
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines (required)
