Description

FanDuel is seeking a motivated individual to join the Canadian marketing team as a Marketing Co-Op student with a focus on communications. This role is designed to support the growth of FanDuel Sportsbook and Casino in Ontario and Alberta through public relations initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with the broader marketing team, including media, brand, content, and growth departments. Additionally, the role involves collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders in business operations, commercial, product, and analytics to ensure cohesive messaging and operational success.

Responsibilities
  • Support the communications team with crafting messaging, public relations strategies, and strategic communications.
  • Assist with the preparation of internal communications materials including company town halls, executive communications, and company internal messaging.
  • Research trends in the industry and monitor competitor and industry media activity.
  • Support the organisation and planning of office events to strengthen company culture.
  • Prepare marketing materials for presentations for internal and external meetings.
  • Assist with organising marketing team meetings and operations.
  • Lend skills to various teams within the marketing department including media, content, and brand as required.
Requirements
  • Actively pursuing a degree in marketing, business, sports, communications, or political science fields with a strong GPA (required).
  • Very strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and other analytical tools (required).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to change writing styles to fit the audience (required).
