Compensation Senior Analyst
FanDuel is looking for a Compensation Senior Analyst to join the team. This role plays a key part in supporting the business by assisting in the planning, design, implementation, and communication of compensation policies and practices. These efforts are aimed at enabling FanDuel to attract top talent to drive business performance.
The successful candidate will leverage their curiosity to analyse data and develop creative solutions to support a complex and growing business. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined, employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Company to ensure operational flexibility and meet evolving business needs.
- Participate in compensation surveys by collecting data and leading the analysis of results to ensure the competitiveness of current pay versus market data.
- Support annual Compensation Cycles, including merit, bonus, and long-term incentive processes, by assisting in population verification and working with HR and managers to ensure performance ratings and budget analysis are completed.
- Aid in the development of compensation program communications for management and employees, including annual and quarterly programs.
- Collaborate closely with Compensation Partners, HR Managers, and Talent Acquisition on employee matters such as internal equity analysis and new hire offers.
- Review existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration to ensure company compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct job analysis and review position descriptions for appropriateness and confirmation of FLSA and other job classifications.
- Lead various compensation-related projects on an as-needed basis.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis for special studies, legal, and leadership requests.
- Mentor and guide less experienced Compensation Analysts.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in compensation (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field (preferred)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (required)
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and auditing, specifically SOX compliance requirements (required)
- Exposure to data analysis programming languages such as SQL, Python, VBA, or Tableau (preferred)
- Workday and HRIS system configuration experience (preferred)
- Exposure to and curiosity for Artificial Intelligence tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Co-Pilot (required)
- Results-oriented with a natural curiosity to solve problems and provide actionable solutions (required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity (required)
- Continuous improvement focus with the ability to deconstruct processes and implement changes using AI tools (required)
- Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset (required)
- Ability to consolidate and work with large volumes of data (required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)
- CCP course completion or similar certification (preferred)
- Interest in Fantasy Sports and/or Sports Gaming (preferred)
