Predicts Senior Analyst
FanDuel is looking for a Senior Analyst to help execute its Predicts commercial strategy and deliver critical consumer insights. The role involves monitoring business performance, identifying trends and critical issues, and completing both simple and complex analyses to inform business decisions. The Senior Analyst will report periodically to the leadership team and work in a highly collaborative environment alongside the Product, Marketing, and Finance teams.
This position offers an opportunity to help elevate a new product at a premier gaming company. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and organised individual who can solve problems, make quick but well-informed decisions, and clearly present complex analyses.
- Support the creation of forecasts across customer acquisition and engagement.
- Develop standardised reporting and monitor daily performance of FanDuel Predicts.
- Perform custom analysis and experiments that uncover critical Predicts customer insights.
- Analyze and recommend improvements to existing processes across various teams, including Marketing, Product, Data Engineering, and Customer Operations.
- Analyze and regularly report on the efficacy of promotions and marketing tactics.
- Become an expert of the FanDuel Predicts customer experience end to end, including media, registration funnel, funding, odds, UX, promos, and customer service, and proactively look for opportunities to improve.
- 3+ years’ experience working in an analytical, technical, consulting, or commercial field (preferred).
- Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis (required).
- Proficiency in SQL and Tableau/data visualization (required).
- Experience with Databricks (preferred).
- Strong analytical proficiency and Excel-based modeling skills (required).
- Experience in statistical and experimentation methods (preferred).
- Track record of transforming data into actionable insights and presentations (required).
- Ability to take initiative and produce results in a fast-paced environment (required).
- Experience working in real-money gaming, prediction market, or adjacent industry (preferred).
- Knowledge of and interest in sports and technology (preferred).
