Product Manager

Description

FanDuel is looking for a Product Manager for the Core Apps domain to contribute to shaping the systems and capabilities that power its customer-facing mobile and web applications. These applications serve millions of users across major sporting events, delivering seamless sports betting experiences to customers.

In this role, the Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional product development teams to evolve critical customer-facing capabilities and optimise the performance of the application. The role involves collaborating with engineering and product engineering pillars to ensure apps remain robust, adaptable, and innovative, supporting new product features, market expansions, and evolving regulatory and commercial needs.

This is an impactful position that requires both technical understanding and product management skills. The Product Manager will contribute to optimising app performance, building enabling capabilities that allow product engineering teams to move at speed, and helping ensure FanDuel continues to deliver seamless, high-volume betting experiences through its customer-facing applications.

Responsibilities
  • Own and deliver feature-level outcomes over quarters, executing within established initiatives.
  • Contribute to strategies and propose solutions that address customer problems.
  • Support defining success criteria for features and gather insights through analytics, research, and competitive analysis.
  • Participate in shaping activities such as spikes, usability testing, and A/B tests to de-risk features and refine solutions that enhance app capabilities.
  • Execute appropriate delivery approaches including experiment, MVP, and data-driven methods to achieve outcomes that enable faster product engineering delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and communicate progress, blockers, and impacts to stakeholders and senior product managers.
  • Support collaborative workshops including ideation, unpacking, and requirements gathering to ensure clear action plans for app improvement initiatives.
  • Build technical understanding in the product area and apply feasibility insights during solution development.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of digital product management experience with demonstrable feature-level delivery and outcomes (required)
  • Experience with mobile or web application focus (preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with metrics, data, and recommending improvements (required)
  • Experience facilitating workshops, design sprints, and cross-team planning sessions (required)
  • Ability to balance tactical execution with strategic thinking (required)
  • Understanding of customer needs and behaviours gained through research and cross-functional collaboration in consumer-facing applications (required)
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to understand trade-offs and collaborate effectively with Engineering teams (required)
  • Experience working in fast-paced, data-driven environments with multiple stakeholders (required)
