Project Manager
FanDuel is looking for a Project Manager to join its growing team delivering projects within the Business Project Management team. The Project Manager will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish – working with stakeholders to develop plans, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational, communication and analytical skills; the ability to drive decision making while challenging the status quo; and experience delivering programmes that have significant impact across the wider organisation. The role will report to the Senior Program Manager with significant exposure across FanDuel Group, as well as to the broader global company (Flutter Entertainment).
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver the most critical projects across the organisation.
- Define project tasks and resource requirements.
- Assemble and coordinate multi-disciplinary, and potentially geographically dispersed, teams.
- Track project milestones and deliverables, and report status updates.
- Identify risks that would prevent the timely delivery of projects and develop solutions to mitigate the risks.
- Provide direction and support to project teams.
- Identify decisions or trade-offs that need to be made to ensure successful delivery of solutions on time.
- Work with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure clear and precise delivery of solutions.
- 3 years’ experience in project management, strategy, or business operations ideally at a technology, sports or media company (required)
- Organised and transparent with regards to plans, milestones and deliverables (required)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under minimal supervision at detailed levels while taking account of interdependencies at higher levels (required)
- Demonstrates a bias for action, can deliver in an agile environment, and has a track record of success (required)
- Good relationship manager and negotiator, able to build agreements with business stakeholders (required)
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and determine priorities (required)
- Ability to influence others without formal authority (required)
- Ability to motivate potentially large and diverse teams from across the business and external stakeholders and create effective teams (required)
- Experience of working with distributed teams (required)
