Senior Financial Analyst
FanDuel is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the financial planning and analysis of its Technology and Operations departments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, data-driven industry.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial management reports, partnering closely with stakeholders across finance and the Technology / Operations team.
- Support the monthly and quarterly budgeting/forecast process including data management, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Assist in management of headcount management / hiring plans.
- Collaborate with Technology / Operations teams to analyze performance, optimize investment, and support business decisions.
- Assist in identifying new opportunities to enhance forecast accuracy, process efficiency, and greater automation.
- Proactively address ad-hoc analysis and projects related to market performance, customer trends, and other sportsbook initiatives.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to identify areas of risk and opportunity to influence business strategy.
- 3-4 years of experience in Corporate Finance or similar field (required)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and PowerPoint skills for executive presentations (required)
- Advanced financial, analytical and problem-solving abilities (required)
- Ability to distill financial data and interpret in clear and concise insights (required)
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities effectively in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment (required)
- Ambition to learn about FanDuel’s products and finance processes (required)
- Ability to understand trends and assist in forecasting business KPIs (required)
- MBA and other finance professional certificates preferred
- Hyperion Essbase and Oracle experience preferred
