Technical Program Manager

Description

FanDuel is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive cross-functional programs from planning through delivery. In this role, the TPM will coordinate production delivery, manage changes, build clear roadmaps, manage risks and dependencies, and keep multiple teams aligned and moving.

The TPM will work closely with data engineering teams and partner with product and business unit stakeholders across the organisation to turn goals into well-structured, successfully delivered outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Build roadmaps and drive execution alongside stakeholders and cross-functional partners, keeping delivery on track.
  • Coordinate and manage execution of production deployments end to end, using tools such as Jira and Confluence to track work and keep everyone informed.
  • Manage changes, partnering closely with other cross-functional teams to ensure changes are safe, approved, and well-executed.
  • Lead projects, including environment migrations and end-user deliveries, from kickoff through successful completion.
  • Independently gather the information you need, coordinate across multiple stakeholders, and keep programs moving.
  • Progressively build structure, process, and clarity in areas where workflows are not yet fully defined.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with technical and non-technical audiences, in writing and verbally.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years’ experience as a Technical Program Manager (or similar) leading cross-functional programs (required).
  • Hands-on experience coordinating production deployments and change management, ideally with Jira and Confluence (required).
  • A track record of delivering projects such as environment migrations and end-user rollouts (required).
  • Strong project and program management skills, including roadmap creation and execution (required).
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to stay effective under pressure (required).
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and bringing order to them over time (required).
  • A proactive, curious mindset - you ask the right questions and continuously improve how things are done (required).
  • Strong business and stakeholder orientation, with genuine motivation to work with data engineering teams (required).
  • Adaptability in dynamic environments and the ability to work autonomously (required).
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (required).
  • Experience working directly with data engineering or data platform teams (nice-to-have).
  • Familiarity with security, legal, or architecture review processes in a technical organisation (nice-to-have).
Benefits
  • Health plans to choose from, including programs for fertility and family planning, mental health support, and fitness benefits.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO & sick leave).
  • Annual bonus and long-term incentive opportunities (based on performance).
  • 401k with up to a 5% match.
  • Commuter benefits.
  • Pet insurance.

  • Life insurance.
  • Disability insurance.
  • 14 paid company holidays.
