Senior IT Project Manager - Full-Time Permanent Contract
FDJ United is seeking a senior IT Project Manager to contribute to the modernisation of the Group's sports betting platform. This role is primarily focused on meeting the requirements of the French market, with the potential to evolve into a model that supports international activities. The transformation aims to improve the functionality, performance, quality, delivery agility, and operational resilience of the platform across both frontend and backend systems.
Reporting to the Head of Delivery, the successful candidate will lead defined projects, whether mono or multi-team. The role involves working in close interaction with business units, IT teams, suppliers, architecture, QA, security, and operations. The Project Manager will oversee the implementation of projects, ensuring adherence to scope, deadlines, costs, quality, and established commitments, while coordinating contributing teams and securing project delivery.
- Plan and manage project execution by building detailed schedules, milestones, and action plans, and monitoring progress to ensure commitments are met.
- Coordinate contributors and dependencies by facilitating follow-up meetings, orchestrating cross-functional tasks, and ensuring fluid information flow between stakeholders.
- Manage risks, budgets, and variances by maintaining logs of risks, trade-offs, alerts, and potential drifts to secure project delivery.
- Prepare governance and decision-making instances by producing reliable reporting and providing visibility for trade-offs and project monitoring.
- Guarantee the quality of delivery and the transition to run by organising commissioning, transfer to operations teams, closing documentation, and feedback sessions.
- Master's degree or equivalent (required)
- Five to eight years of experience in project management at a senior level (required)
- Solid mastery of project management including planning, budget monitoring, risk management, reporting, and governance mechanisms (required)
- Strong understanding of IT delivery and project lifecycle, with knowledge of digital and application projects, production deployment, and service quality issues (required)
- Proven ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders in demanding contexts, ideally on international IT projects and in constrained environments (required)
- Rigorous and reliable organisation combined with clear communication, a sense of commitment, and the ability to anticipate dependencies, planning drifts, and transition risks (required)
