In the context of the modernisation of the Group's sports betting platform, FDJ United is looking for a Lead DevOps. This transformation aims to sustainably strengthen the functionality, performance, quality, delivery agility, and operational resilience of the sports betting platform. Initially designed to meet the challenges of the French market, this platform will also support the international ambitions of FDJ United.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will work within a modern, distributed product environment. You will collaborate closely with the Back-End, QA, SRE/Ops, Security, Architecture, and Release Management teams to ensure the operational excellence of the platform. Your objective: to structure and lead DevOps practices for the Sportsbook Back-End perimeter, ensuring the robustness of CI/CD pipelines, the automation of deployments, the quality of environments, and the reliability of operations.

Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the DevOps strategy for the Sportsbook Back-End perimeter, in alignment with product, technical, and operational goals.
  • Guarantee the robustness and efficiency of CI/CD pipelines to improve the quality and speed of deliveries.
  • Design and evolve build, test, and deployment pipelines, while standardising practices and quality gates.
  • Automate recurring tasks to improve service quality and reduce manual operations.
  • Improve system observability by strengthening monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic tools.
  • Support the management of major incidents and contribute to the continuous improvement of platform stability.
  • Optimise rollback, traceability, and release security processes.
  • Lead the DevOps roadmap and coordinate dependencies with engineering teams.
  • Promote DevOps, Cloud, and Run best practices within technical teams.
  • Provide technical leadership to DevOps engineers and contribute to the development of their expertise.
  • Contribute to the reduction of friction between build, test, release, and run processes to improve overall delivery efficiency.
Requirements
  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science or equivalent (required).
  • Fluent English is mandatory for daily work with international teams (required).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Release Engineering (required).
  • Solid mastery of CI/CD practices, Infrastructure as Code, containerisation, and automation (required).
  • Significant experience with Cloud environments and distributed platforms (required).
  • Expertise in observability, monitoring, advanced troubleshooting, and production environment management (required).
  • Good understanding of application security and deployment security (required).
  • Excellent knowledge of the software lifecycle and associated operational risks (required).
  • Ability to balance technical standardisation with product needs (required).
  • Experience in critical, high-availability environments (nice-to-have).
  • Experience with international platforms featuring a high frequency of deployments (nice-to-have).
  • Sensitivity to performance and resilience issues in high-load systems (nice-to-have).
