Incident Management Specialist
Flutter International is looking for an Incident Management Specialist to join the IT Operation & Control Room Department. The role focuses on ensuring the continuity of all services by promptly detecting, taking charge of, and managing alerts, while preventing the occurrence of failures and disservices.
The specialist will perform first-level monitoring of infrastructure, network, and application components, extracting and analysing data to provide useful information for timely and correct operational interventions. This includes carrying out operational activities and supporting the resolution of incidents, acting as a constant interface with technical groups, systems engineers, and network specialists. The role requires supervision of monitoring events from different tools to ensure the correct functioning of all components and timely resolution of massive problems, using company systems appropriately. Please note that this job profile requires work shifts on a 5-day per week rotation basis.
- Detect, take charge of, and manage alerts while ensuring 24-hour shift coverage.
- Guarantee the continuity of all services by acting promptly to prevent failures and disservices.
- Perform first-level monitoring activities for infrastructure, network, and application components.
- Extract and analyse data to provide useful information for timely and correct operational interventions.
- Carry out operational activities, including specific tasks related to competition management and office automation.
- Support the resolution of incidents and identify and address massive or central problems.
- Act as a constant interface with technical groups, systems engineers, and network specialists.
- Supervise monitoring events from various tools to ensure the correct functioning of all components.
- Use company systems in an appropriate and timely manner.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience (required).
- Bachelor degree in IT, technical, scientific, or other relevant fields (required).
- Good knowledge of all monitoring areas within an Incident Management Department and related tools (required).
- Understanding of monitoring tools such as Nagios, OpManager, Splunk, Dynatrace, Catchpoint, HP Vertical, or ELK Stack (required).
- Ability to be flexible in the problem-solving process (required).
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and large teams (required).
- Fluent in Italian language, both written and spoken (required).
- Good understanding of the English language (required).
