Description

The company is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of public policy and a keen interest in technology and gaming regulation. This role offers hands-on exposure to policy research, regulatory analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will perform targeted research on gaming regulations, policy developments, and case laws. They will prepare research documents, including policy briefs, memos, checklists, and reports for internal use and external submissions. The role also involves initiating requests for discussions with regulators, stakeholders, or partners and managing follow-ups to ensure timely responses and progress. Additionally, the intern will attend meetings, policy discussions, and consultations, taking detailed notes, summarising outcomes, and supporting action item tracking. Assistance will also be provided in broader policy function tasks such as stakeholder mapping and basic advocacy materials.

Responsibilities
  • Perform targeted research on gaming regulations, policy developments, and case laws (e.g., PROG Act, IT Rules, state policies).
  • Prepare research documents, including policy briefs, memos, checklists, and reports for internal use and external submissions.
  • Initiate requests for discussions with regulators, stakeholders, or partners; manage follow-ups to ensure timely responses and progress.
  • Attend meetings, policy discussions, and consultations; take detailed notes, summarise outcomes, and support action item tracking.
  • Assist in broader policy function tasks like stakeholder mapping and basic advocacy materials.
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience, ideally from internships in policy research, government affairs, legal, or regulatory roles (required).
  • Familiarity with Indian tech/gaming regulations is advantageous (nice-to-have).
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities for crisp documentation (required).
  • Excellent communication for initiating discussions and follow-ups (required).
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in fast-paced, collaborative settings (required).
