Test Senior Specialist (Maternity Leave Replacement)
Flutter International is looking for a Senior Manual Tester to join the Testing Department on a one-year contract to cover a maternity leave. The role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of digital products through rigorous testing activities.
In this position, the specialist will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify issues and improve user experience. The role involves taking ownership of testing tasks, providing guidance to junior team members, and driving continuous improvement within the team to support the successful delivery of software solutions.
- Design, prepare, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure software applications meet business and functional requirements.
- Perform manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Partner with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project managers to better understand requirements, validate functionality, and ensure complete test coverage.
- Share knowledge and best practices with junior team members, supporting their professional development and promoting a quality-focused culture.
- Contribute to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle and help ensure positive user experiences.
- Create and maintain clear testing documentation, including test cases, execution reports, and defect tracking records.
- Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies, and collaborate with automation teams to improve overall testing efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (required)
- At least 2 years of experience in manual software testing, with a focus on functional and regression testing (required)
- ISTQB Foundation Certification or higher (preferred)
- Good understanding of manual testing principles, techniques, and best practices (required)
- Experience working with defect management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Quality Center, or ServiceNow (required)
- Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail, ALM, or Polarion (required)
- Knowledge of SQL and databases for data validation and testing activities (required)
- Understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (required)
- Experience testing web and mobile applications (required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (required)
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results (required)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills (required)
- Italian language proficiency at C1 level or higher (required)
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team (required)
