Risk Trader
The Risk Trader is responsible for the trading and risk management of all horse and greyhound racing content for all Flutter UK & Ireland facing brands. The successful candidate will also be tasked with providing an industry-leading antepost, specials and extra market offering for the greyhound racing product. They will be responsible for the horse racing risk management tasks and the day to day running of the greyhound desk.
The role involves analysing bet information to drive pricing accuracy and relaying risk information in real time to the horse racing traders. The Risk Trader will also conduct retrospective risk reports and post trading analysis. Customer management is key, tailoring the product offering to customer needs and managing customer-level risk and liabilities, including bet clearance.
In this fast-paced trading environment, the Risk Trader will effectively react to and communicate real-time risk information, working within the wider racing team to liaise on risk management decisions and wider racing projects.
- Analyse bet information to drive pricing accuracy.
- Relay risk information in real time to horse racing traders.

- Manage the customer base and tailor the product offering to customer needs.
- Manage customer-level risk and liabilities, including bet clearance.
- Price all domestic UK & Ireland greyhound races daily.
- Offer industry-leading specials and extra markets to drive customer engagement.
- Keep up to date on antepost competitions and industry developments.
- Work within the high-paced trading environment and effectively react to and communicate real time risk information.
- Work within the wider racing team liaising on risk management decisions and wider racing projects.
- Strong Microsoft Office user, particularly Excel and Powerpoint (required).
- Excellent presentation skills (required).
- Strong report-writing skills, with a keen eye for detail (required).
