Senior Automation Business Analyst

Description

Flutter UK & Ireland is seeking a visionary Senior Business Analyst to lead an agile team of Automation Business Analysts. In this leading position, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Business Analysts, focusing on building a roadmap and delivering robust automation and AI solutions. The aim of the role is to radically improve how teams operate by delivering faster, more efficient, and higher-quality processes to customers through the use of technologies such as Agentic AI, NLP, and Generative AI.

Flutter UK & Ireland is looking for inquisitive, hard-working, and creative individuals who are eager to have a significant, tangible impact by improving business operations. The role involves close collaboration with process owners to identify operational improvements and brainstorm new automation ideas, while overseeing the continuous improvement and optimisation of automated processes.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting project’s prioritization.
  • Responsible for the management, coaching, and mentoring of a small team of more junior Business Analysts.
  • Leads or participates in various workshops to define and design Automation/AI solutions.
  • Responsible for having documents for all process requirements and flow prior and after automation using standardize documents.
  • Responsible for all stakeholders being well informed of the status of development requirements and scope.
  • Leads and/or participates in the problem identification/error resolution process.
  • Participates on sign-off approvals by business and/or technical staff to certify successful results of milestone deliverable(s) or phase completion, including process development and deployment.
  • Responsible of following project governance (project phases).
  • Responsible to have the relevant reporting in place for automated solutions.
  • Constantly collaborate closely with process owners to raise operational improvements and brainstorm for Automation/AI ideas.
  • Oversees continuous improvement and optimisation on automated processes.
  • Conducts effective performance evaluations and mentors developers through formal and informal channels.
  • Offers support to Developer Lead and to Maintenance Lead and collaborates with both to continuously improve delivery.
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent experience (required)

  • Keen to have a deeper understanding on all processes and to improve the cohesion between the teams (required)
  • Plan effectively and efficiently, with an ability to adapt to changing circumstances and deliver under pressure (required)

  • SCRUM/Agile experience (nice-to-have)
