Senior Project Manager
Games Global is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the team and take ownership of large-scale technology projects and programmes that drive real business value. - Lead the successful delivery of large, complex projects and programmes from initiation through to completion.
- Drive project strategy, planning, execution, governance, and reporting across multiple workstreams.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to align project outcomes with strategic objectives.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, dependencies, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior and executive leadership.
- Proactively identify challenges and implement solutions that keep projects on track.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Oversee project change management and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices, lessons learned, and delivery excellence.
- Mentor and support Project Managers, helping to grow project management capability across the organisation.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field (required)
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification (required)
- 8+ years of project management experience within a software development or technology environment (required)
- 5+ years managing large-scale, complex projects or programmes (required)
- Proven ability to lead multiple workstreams, manage competing priorities, and deliver results (required)
- Experience managing project budgets and engaging with senior executive stakeholders (required)
- Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (required)
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments (required)
- Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills (required)
- Experience mentoring and developing Project Managers and delivery teams (required)
- A strategic mindset combined with strong execution and delivery focus (required)
- Certifications such as PRINCE2, PgMP, MSP, SAFe, or PMI-ACP (nice-to-have)
- Lead business-critical projects that have a direct impact on organisational success.
