Sports Customer Onboarding Officer (Maternity Cover)
The Sports Customer Onboarding Officer role is part of Genius Sports' team that helps sports leagues and teams boost performance on and off the field using cutting-edge technology, analytics, and visual insights. Genius Sports is looking for an individual to support the rollout of its products across various leagues and partners.
The successful candidate will onboard new clients, manage technical setups, and ensure the smooth delivery of streaming and analytics solutions. This position requires close collaboration with both clients and internal teams, necessitating strong coordination, product understanding, and the ability to maintain efficient operations. This is a temporary role to cover maternity leave.
- Onboard leagues, federations, and partners onto Genius Sports products.
- Set up and support streaming integrations and the GeniusIQ analytics platform.
- Configure technical setups, manage timelines, and ensure smooth project delivery and handover.
- Deliver product training to internal teams and external clients.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, and Commercial teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and training materials.
- Support seasonal readiness, respond to client requests, and resolve or escalate technical issues.
- Strong understanding of how sports competitions operate across leagues and formats (required).
- Experience onboarding users or clients onto technical products or platforms (required).
- Knowledge of video streaming fundamentals such as codecs, resolution, and delivery protocols (required).
- Comfortable working with APIs and reading technical documentation (required).
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Monday.com (required).
- Strong communication, organisation, and multitasking skills (required).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused approach (required).
- Passion for sports and interest in sports technology (nice-to-have).
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences (nice-to-have).
- Curiosity and drive to improve processes and workflows (nice-to-have).
- Monthly salary ranging from €2,100 to €2,600 gross.
