Senior Account Manager (Paid Media)
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing key operator partnerships for the paid media department. This role involves driving commercial performance and ensuring strong, long-term relationships with clients. The individual will own a portfolio of high-value partners, acting as their main point of contact and proactively identifying opportunities to increase revenue, improve performance, and strengthen collaboration.
Working closely with the wider Account Team, the Senior Account Manager will review and create weekly and monthly performance reports, ensure accurate tracking of payments and debts, and support the optimisation of all commercial activities. As a senior member of the team, the role requires working with greater autonomy, leading by example, providing guidance to Account Managers when needed, and contributing to improving internal processes and best practices.
- Manage a portfolio of key operator accounts and ensure strong, long-term, and commercially productive relationships.
- Actively monitor and analyse partner performance, identifying opportunities to optimise results in line with the company’s commercial strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and other internal teams to ensure alignment on priorities, processes, and performance goals.
- Negotiate improved commercial terms with existing partners while proactively identifying and reaching out to new operators to secure new deals, listing fees, and strategic opportunities.
- Prepare, review, and present regular performance and revenue reports, ensuring accuracy of data, payments, and commercial tracking.
- Support the Account Team with administrative tasks when required, ensuring smooth operational workflows.
- Contribute to continuous product improvement by sharing insights, new ideas, and potential revenue-driving models with relevant stakeholders.
- Actively participate in regular team meetings, business reviews, and commercial planning sessions.
- Represent the company at affiliate conferences, industry events, and partner meetings when required.
- Perform other duties related to the above responsibilities, as needed to support the success of the commercial department.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience (required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (required)
- Organisational skills / multi-tasking ability (required)
- Salesforce background experience (required)
- 4+ years of experience in affiliate marketing or / and online advertising (required)
- Ability to act and operate independently (required)
- Experience in selling paid media products such as Meta, Google/Bing Ads and Display/Programmatic (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, data analysis, and presentations (required)
- Ability to analyse KPIs, financial data, and performance metrics to support business decisions (required)
- Proficiency in affiliate management platforms to strengthen partner relationships and optimise campaign performance (required)
- Skilled in utilising content management systems (CMS) to maintain high-quality, accurate, and strategically aligned operator listings (required)
- Ability to prioritise customer satisfaction, anticipates needs, and delivers solutions (required)
- Skilled in building rapport and maintains strong interpersonal connection (required)
