Senior Accountant
The purpose of this role is to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial reporting across multiple legal entities. The successful candidate will help build a scalable and predictable accounting function by owning the general ledger, leading the month-end close process, and continuously improving accounting operations as the business grows.
This role involves reviewing balance sheet and P&L accounts, investigating variances, and resolving accounting discrepancies. It also requires maintaining strong accounting controls and compliance with internal policies, as well as supporting the implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and SOPs. Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements is essential.
Furthermore, the role focuses on identifying opportunities to simplify and improve close-related processes, driving standardization across accounting activities and legal entities, and partnering with stakeholders to improve data quality and financial workflows. Support for automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy is also a key aspect. The Senior Accountant will partner closely with Revenue, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax, and other Finance teams, and support external auditors by preparing schedules, documentation, and explanations. Clear communication of accounting matters to both finance and non-finance stakeholders is expected, helping to build reliable financial information that supports business decision-making.
- Own and execute month-end and year-end close activities across multiple legal entities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Maintain an accurate and complete general ledger.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and statutory reporting.
- Ensure reporting deadlines are consistently met without compromising quality.
- Review balance sheet and P&L accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate variances and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Maintain strong accounting controls and compliance with internal policies.

- 4–5+ years of experience in General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, or audit (required).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and core accounting principles (required).
- Hands-on experience managing month-end close and account reconciliations (required).
- Experience working with multiple legal entities or complex accounting structures (required).
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with accounting systems or ERPs (required).
- Strong analytical thinking with exceptional attention to detail (required).
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher (required).
