Junior Risk Analyst - Italian Market
Greentube is looking for a motivated Junior Risk Analyst to join the Risk Operations Italy team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in protecting operations from fraud, financial risks, and regulatory non-compliance.
The role involves managing player accounts, ensuring adherence to internal policies, and collaborating with various teams to maintain a secure gaming environment while enhancing the overall customer experience.
- Adhere to corporate wide and team specific policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Perform KYC related tasks including verification of documentation in line with operational procedures.
- Analyse and handle charge back disputes.
- Handle the processing of payouts according to operational requirements.
- Assist in conducting PEP, sanctions and adverse media checks and escalate internally any findings or concerns.
- Assist with monitoring and investigating accounts which come with higher fraud and AML risk factors.
- Investigate flagged accounts generated by the monitoring tools used by the team.
- Identify and analyse suspicious gaming activities.
- Take any necessary actions on customer accounts in accordance with procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other teams to manage player accounts, continuously enhancing customer experience while ensuring compliance.
- Actively participate in improving internal procedures and processes.
- Report on pending items to the team seniors or team lead.
- Assisting or working on any other tasks as requested by management.
- Native Italian and fluent English, both written and spoken. (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Customer Support, KYC, Fraud or a similar analytical role within iGaming. (required)
- Experience in KYC, Fraud or Risk within another regulated industry, such as banking, financial services or fintech. (preferred)
- Experience working with the Italian market. (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, with good analytical and problem-solving skills. (required)
- Basic understanding of Fraud, AML, KYC or Responsible Gaming principles. (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office. (required)
- Knowledge of risk or monitoring tools. (preferred)
- Self-driven, reliable and adaptable, with a flexible approach to rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays. (required)
- Able to work independently while being a strong and collaborative team player. (required)
