Greentube Malta is looking for a NOC Engineer to join their growing team. This role is important for keeping iGaming operations running smoothly 24/7. The NOC Engineer will monitor the production environment, handle events and incidents, and collaborate with other technical teams to ensure the availability and stability of services. Clear communication, a proactive approach, and a strong understanding of systems and networks are key to success in this role. Responsibilities
  • Work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts to provide 24/7 operational coverage.
  • Monitor the production environment, gaming systems, and services to identify and respond to issues.
  • Manage events and incidents, performing troubleshooting and resolution where possible.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for operational issues during your shift.
  • Provide B2B technical support and ensure issues are handled within agreed SLAs.
  • Follow established escalation procedures for incidents requiring further technical support.
  • Resolve incidents within the NOC’s scope and maximise the first-resolution rate.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Prepare daily shift reports covering incidents, system status, and relevant activities.
  • Work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, Engineering, and other technical teams to ensure effective incident resolution and service continuity.
Requirements
  • Very good English communication skills, both written and spoken. (required)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office. (required)
  • Good understanding of networking concepts, including switches, routers, firewalls, IPS, etc. (required)
  • Experience with professional monitoring tools is considered an asset. (nice-to-have)
  • Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays. (required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. (required)
  • Proactive communication and a strong problem-solving mindset. (required)
  • High level of resilience and the ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations. (required)
