NOC Engineer
Greentube Malta is looking for a NOC Engineer to join their growing team. This role is important for keeping iGaming operations running smoothly 24/7. The NOC Engineer will monitor the production environment, handle events and incidents, and collaborate with other technical teams to ensure the availability and stability of services. Clear communication, a proactive approach, and a strong understanding of systems and networks are key to success in this role. - Work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts to provide 24/7 operational coverage.
- Monitor the production environment, gaming systems, and services to identify and respond to issues.
- Manage events and incidents, performing troubleshooting and resolution where possible.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for operational issues during your shift.
- Provide B2B technical support and ensure issues are handled within agreed SLAs.
- Follow established escalation procedures for incidents requiring further technical support.
- Resolve incidents within the NOC’s scope and maximise the first-resolution rate.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Prepare daily shift reports covering incidents, system status, and relevant activities.
- Work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, Engineering, and other technical teams to ensure effective incident resolution and service continuity.
- Very good English communication skills, both written and spoken. (required)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office. (required)
- Good understanding of networking concepts, including switches, routers, firewalls, IPS, etc. (required)
- Experience with professional monitoring tools is considered an asset. (nice-to-have)
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays. (required)
