Senior .NET Backend Developer
At Funstage, the Backend team creates the technology behind social casino games, from bonus engines and progression systems to leaderboards, battle passes and real-time gameplay that keep players coming back for another round. As a Senior .NET Backend Developer, this is a chance to turn great game ideas into reality, tackle exciting challenges at scale, and see your work make a real difference to the player experience. From idea to production, there’s plenty of room to shape how things are built, bring fresh ideas to the table, and have fun solving tricky technical problems along the way.
The Architecture team is a team effort. New solutions are discussed openly and shaped together, with team buy-in before development begins. Code reviews are part of how the team grows. Every pull request is reviewed by the rest of the team within a few hours, helping to maintain quality while sharing knowledge along the way. The team works as peers. The manager is part of the team, and technical decisions are discussed openly and made together. Team members can choose which features they want to work on from the sprint. Unit tests and Gherkin-based acceptance tests are part of the definition of done and are kept up to date. The team follows the YAGNI principle, avoiding unnecessary complexity and focusing on solid, evolvable architectures. Everyone builds a strong understanding of the Kubernetes components and CI/CD, so infrastructure knowledge is shared across the team.
