Game Mathematician I
At IGT, the company designs and builds casino games played by millions of players worldwide. For its studio, IGT is searching for a talented Game Mathematician based in Chicago, IL who is passionate about creating engaging, high-class gaming experiences.
As a Game Mathematician, the role will play a key part in shaping the player experience by designing and analysing the mathematical models behind the company's games. The individual will contribute across the full game development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Designing and developing mathematical models for casino games, including RTP, volatility, and overall game behaviour.
- Creating math for original titles for digital or land-based games.
- Producing clear and detailed mathematical documentation (math models, game logic).
- Testing and validating game outcomes using Excel, simulations, and internal tools.
- Supporting development teams with mathematical insights and ensuring accuracy throughout production.
- 2-3 years of experience in game mathematics for real-money casino games (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, physics) (required).
- Solid experience with MS Excel (required).
- Basic programming knowledge (C++, C#, or similar language) (required).
