Game Mathematician I
IGT is looking for a Game Mathematician to join the team in Belgrade. This role is responsible for designing and analysing the mathematical models that underpin casino games, ensuring they provide an engaging and balanced player experience. The successful candidate will work across the full game development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring original gaming concepts to life.
The role involves creating mathematical frameworks for both digital and land-based titles, focusing on key metrics such as return to player, volatility, and overall game mechanics. The Game Mathematician will be expected to produce comprehensive documentation and validate game outcomes through rigorous testing and simulation, providing essential insights to development teams throughout the production process.
- Designing and developing mathematical models for casino games, including RTP, volatility, and overall game behaviour.
- Creating math for original titles for digital or land-based games.
- Producing clear and detailed mathematical documentation (math models, game logic).
- Testing and validating game outcomes using Excel, simulations, and internal tools.
- Supporting development teams with mathematical insights and ensuring accuracy throughout production.
- Experience in game mathematics for real-money casino games (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, physics) (required).
- Solid experience with MS Excel (required).
- Basic programming knowledge (C++, C#, or similar language) (required).
- Candidates must be fully eligible to work full-time under a local employment contract in Belgrade (required).
