Senior Linux Platform Engineer
Kambi is seeking an experienced Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join its Engineering Operations department. The role focuses on the layer between hardware and applications, supporting the organisation's infrastructure and the success of its partners by ensuring a stable, 24/7 environment.
In this position, the engineer will build and maintain on-premise infrastructure globally. The role involves delivering reliable, scalable, and universally available systems while working within a collaborative, agile, and ever-changing environment.
- Build and maintain on-prem infrastructure with a wide variety of technologies around the globe.
- Deliver reliable, scalable, and universally available systems.
- Utilise automation and code to evolve infrastructure.
- Collaborate within a self-organising, self-managing team to meet objectives.
- Support the organisation's infrastructure to ensure a stable environment twenty-four seven, year-round.
- Solid background in Linux (required).
- Experience with infrastructure automation (preferred).
- Basic understanding of networking, such as dynamic routing, data centre switching, and site-to-site VPNs (preferred).
- Security-first approach (preferred).
- Agile mindset (required).
- Experience working with Ubuntu, Debian, and Puppet profiles (preferred).
