Sportsbook Operations Associate - 3 Month Fixed Term Contract
Kambi is looking for individuals to join its Trading team in Bucharest for a focused 3-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with live sporting events, markets, and sportsbook operations.
Successful candidates will work alongside experienced colleagues to learn how decisions are made during live matches and as markets move. The role is office-based and requires working varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, to align with the nature of live sports.
- Monitor live sporting events and ensure markets are operating accurately.
- Support live trading activity, including real-time odds adjustments within established processes.
- Spot issues quickly and escalate them to the appropriate personnel.
- Monitor third-party sports data and identify factors that could affect an event or market.
- Work directly with traders, managers, and operational teams during live events.
- Build knowledge across different sports and competitions as coverage needs change.
- Genuine interest in sport and understanding of how live sporting events work (required).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken (required).
- Strong attention to detail (required).
- Ability to stay calm and focused when managing multiple tasks simultaneously (required).
- Comfortable learning new systems and working across multiple tools (required).
- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends (required).
- Previous sportsbook experience (nice-to-have).
- Experience in operations or an international environment (nice-to-have).
- 180 RON net monthly wellbeing allowance.
- 40 RON meal vouchers per working day.
