Tech Lead Fullstack (Nest.js/React Native)

As part of the internalization of our technical skills and to support our growth, we are looking for a Tech Lead Fullstack. This strategic role will allow you to steer technical choices, manage a dedicated squad, and directly contribute to the evolution of our platform integrated into a complex financial ecosystem (Core Banking System, identity verification or strong authentication solution, wallets...). You will report directly to the CTO. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for the technical direction of your squad, composed of developers and a PM/PO with whom you will work in close collaboration, as well as with the transversal QA and Product Design teams. You will play a key role in implementing standards of excellence, relying on a modern tech stack based on JavaScript (TypeScript), NestJS, GraphQL, and React Native.
- Lead your squad and ensure end-to-end feature delivery
- Supervise a squad composed of backend, frontend, or fullstack developers, in close collaboration with a PM/PO.
- Ensure the delivery of functionalities while respecting Product priorities and quality standards.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to maintain an optimal delivery pace.
- Encourage the team's skill development by sharing your knowledge and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Define and steer backend and frontend architecture choices to ensure system scalability and performance.
- Implement and promote good development practices (testing, CI/CD, documentation).
- Collaborate with QA to ensure robust deliverables that meet quality requirements.
- Design and develop critical features by optimizing the backend (NestJS, Postgres) and frontend (React Native).
- Oversee production deployments and ensure application stability.
- Propose any improvements aimed at better system performance, end to end.
- Participate in discovery workshops with the PM/PO to design technical solutions aligned with user needs.
- Maintain fluid communication with other squads and Tech Leads to manage technical dependencies.
- Contribute to the product vision by providing technical expertise and recommendations based on insights.
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience in fullstack development, including at least 2 years in a Lead or Tech Lead role.
- Expertise in Javascript (Typescript), NestJS, GraphQL, and good knowledge of React Native.
- Good mastery of relational databases (Postgres, Prisma).
- Proficient use of GitLab CI, Jira, Confluence.
- Experience with cloud environments (ideally GCP) and CI/CD tools (GitLab).
- Sensitivity to good development practices (testing, security, documentation).
- Understanding of technologies and processes related to financial systems would be a plus (Banking as a Service, Core Banking System, secure authentication, or mobile wallet solutions).
- You have experience in managing and mentoring a technical team.
- You are capable of uniting around standards of excellence and supporting developers in their progression.
- You enjoy working in a product-oriented approach and know how to collaborate effectively with PM/POs as well as a QA team.
