Treasury Manager
Legend is seeking a Treasury Manager to join its expanding Group Treasury team, reporting directly to the Group Head of Treasury. This role involves taking ownership of cashflow forecasting, financial analysis, hedging activities, and treasury operations within a global business context.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior Finance stakeholders to turn complex financial information into clear, actionable insights. The role offers the opportunity to improve cashflow forecasting, introduce automation, and develop systems and processes that allow the Treasury function to act as a value-adding partner to the business.
- Take ownership of short-term liquidity forecasting, with a particular focus on building and improving cashflow forecasts.
- Bring together data from multiple systems, analyse trends and variances, and give the business a clear picture of its cash position and future funding needs.
- Monitor FX and interest-rate exposures, support hedging activities, and evaluate financial risks, helping the Group make informed decisions about managing debt, liquidity and financial commitments.
- Manage covenant calculations, compliance monitoring, and lender reporting, ensuring accurate financial models, strong controls and early visibility of potential risks.
- Support the management of banking relationships, cash positioning, funding arrangements and treasury transactions across a complex international Group, ensuring effective execution and strong governance.
- Improve the way Treasury captures, analyses and reports financial information. Use analytical expertise and interest in technology to strengthen forecasting, introduce automation and help develop more efficient, scalable treasury processes.
- Work closely with the Group Head of Treasury and wider Finance teams, translating complex financial information into meaningful insights, supporting key decisions and taking ownership when it matters.
- Strong treasury experience in corporate treasury, fund treasury, fiduciary services, banking or a similar environment, with broad exposure to cash management, liquidity and financial risk (required).
- An ACI Diploma (ACI Dip) and/or AMCT qualification would be highly advantageous, although equivalent hands-on treasury experience is equally valued.
- Excellent cashflow forecasting and analytical skills, including experience working with complex datasets, building financial models and using advanced Excel to turn information from multiple sources into clear, reliable forecasts and insights (required).
- Practical knowledge of financial markets and hedging, including FX, interest-rate risk and treasury products, with the ability to assess exposures and understand appropriate risk management approaches (required).
- Experience with treasury operations and controls, including knowledge of banking arrangements, cash management, funding activities and financial governance, ideally within a complex or multi-entity environment (required).
- Confidence working with financial systems and reporting tools, alongside an interest in Power BI, automation and improving the quality and efficiency of financial data (preferred).
- Ownership, adaptability and sound judgement; comfortable working independently, collaborating with senior stakeholders and navigating changing priorities in a fast-moving business (required).
- Super smart colleagues to work alongside and learn from.
- Engaging development opportunities at all levels.
- Tailored flexibility for your work-life balance.
- Annual discretionary bonus to reward your efforts.
- Paid annual leave PLUS a well-deserved break to recharge your batteries during the festive season.
- Offices are closed between Christmas and New Year's, allowing you to enjoy downtime without dipping into your annual allowance.
