VP Engineering
At Legend, the company is building defining products at scale and is looking for a VP of Engineering to lead and evolve its Gaming engineering pillar. This role will be based in the company's offices in Bratislava, with full relocation support provided. Reporting to the CTO, the VP of Engineering will be responsible for shaping the technical direction of the gaming department, building a high-performing organisation, and delivering the platforms that power the company's long-term growth. This is a leadership role with real impact on the technology, the teams, and the trajectory of the business.
- Partner with the CTO and Product/Business leaders to define and execute a 3-year technology strategy
- Build and lead a high-performing engineering organisation, including a strong leadership tier
- Own engineering delivery across multiple product areas and platform capabilities
- Build and lead a high-performing engineering team
- Work closely with the delivery function
- Work closely with C-Level stakeholders to guide and support on technical decisions aligned to their strategy and goals
- Proven experience leading large-scale engineering organisations in complex, high-growth environments (required)
- Strong track record of building high-performing Product Engineering teams and leadership layers (required)
- Deep understanding of platform architecture, scalability, and modern engineering practices (required)
- Experience owning budgets and making strategic investment decisions (required)
- Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels (required)
- Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business impact (required)
