CS Project Manager

Description

As a CS Project Manager, the individual will be responsible for the seamless delivery of both short and long-term projects within the Customer Support function. Working closely with CS leadership, the main focus will be keeping projects on track, documenting and tracking the progress of development requests, and helping launch new tools successfully. This is a highly collaborative role where the individual will connect the Customer Support team with Tech, Product, Compliance, and Data teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to CS leadership on both short and long-term projects: monitoring project progress, providing updates to all stakeholders across the Customer Support function, and ensuring timelines and quality are met.
  • Assist CS leadership in coordinating the implementation of new tools, systems and the onboarding of third-party providers as needed within the Customer Support team.
  • Liaise with and involve all project stakeholders to gather input and ensure effective collaboration, working closely with other operational teams, as well as Product, Tech, Business Development, Retention, Compliance, and Data teams.
  • Assist CS leadership in identifying and managing issues and risks related to project implementation, escalating where appropriate.
  • Regularly illustrate the status of work using project management tools and presentations for leadership and cross-functional audiences.
  • Take responsibility for project implementation and ensure proper reporting, documentation and post-mortem exercises where necessary.
  • Document and track the progress of development requests originating from the Customer Support team.
  • Maintain and update the CS JIRA project related to development work.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between CS Leaders and the Tech and Product teams within the organisation.
  • Keep track of the progress of each development request and follow up with the relevant PMs / POs.
  • Assist leadership in compiling and summarising the top-priority requirements across the Customer Support team on a quarterly basis, in preparation for the next quarter’s roadmap.
Requirements
  • Project management experience, including planning and scope (required)
  • Risk management skills to ensure projects stay on track, complete on time and avoid overruns (required)
  • Excellent knowledge of tools and systems relevant to project management (e.g. JIRA, roadmap and reporting tools) (required)
  • Excellent communication skills, both presentational and written (required)
  • Ability to coordinate multiple work streams across company-wide initiatives (required)
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to log, track and update each project/initiative (required)
  • Shows accountability for managing projects to a successful conclusion (required)
  • Implements solutions to optimise the department in close communication with development teams (required)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and reaction times to resolve potential issues (required)
  • Leadership abilities to delegate coordinated tasks for project completion (required)
  • Excellent communication and able to manage project conflicts (required)
