Finance Manager
LeoVegas is looking for a strategic, numbers-driven leader to take ownership of financial operations and guide a growing team in the iGaming industry. This high-impact role involves overseeing daily operations, championing tech-forward automation and AI initiatives, and partnering with senior executives to drive long-term financial success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising accounting personnel, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and maintaining control over ERP systems and internal processes. The role requires a qualified professional capable of driving team development while ensuring adherence to financial laws and internal controls.
- Supervise the daily operations of Marketing and Opex areas within the finance department.
- Take ownership of review procedures, ensuring that these are carried out in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist in developing and implementing new accounting techniques and systems or in modifying existing methods and procedures.
- Be a key contributor in determining AI possibilities, maintaining control over efficiency and automation type of projects across the team.
- Ensure that within the team there is a proper administration of the ERP and any other tools being used.
- Assist in the planning and organisation of long-term financial goals, ensuring that these are followed and monitored on a regular basis.
- Set targets, coach, motivate and supervise all accounting and finance personnel to improve the team’s personal development.
- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. This includes but is not limited to; financial statements, quarterly reports and annual reports.
- Assist the Senior Finance Manager and Finance Directors in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.
- Oversee all audit and internal control operations of the group, and ensuring adherence to financial laws and guidelines.
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting or any other task that may be delegated by superiors.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire, guide, and positively influence team members (required).
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, work effectively under pressure, and consistently deliver high-quality results within strict deadlines (required).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders (required).
- Qualified Accountant status (Master in Accountancy or ACCA-qualified) (required).
- 3+ years of experience in Senior Accounting (required).
- Previous experience with a similar finance leadership role (required).
- Strong knowledge of IFRSs, reporting (required).
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail (required).
- Experience within the Gaming Industry (nice-to-have).
