Finance Systems Manager

Description

LeoVegas Group is seeking a highly capable and hands-on Finance System Manager to own the development and continuous improvement of its Finance Systems landscape. The successful candidate will become the primary in-house expert for NetSuite and will be responsible for designing, building, configuring, and deploying Finance Systems enhancements.

This role combines strong NetSuite technical expertise with solid Finance domain knowledge to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions. The Finance Systems Manager will act as a bridge between Finance, Technology, and external partners, driving continuous improvement across key finance processes and supporting ongoing finance system implementations.

The role reports directly to the Head of Finance Transformation and requires collaboration with the wider Finance team and other stakeholders. The company is looking for someone to join its global team, and the position can be based either at the Stockholm office, Sweden, or at the office in Sliema, Malta. Travel to different locations may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Drive initiatives to perform enhancements to optimise the critical financial systems, ensuring alignment with Finance and company goals.
  • Own and manage NetSuite as the primary Finance ERP platform.
  • Act as technical owner for other Finance Systems, including Workday Adaptive Planning and other supporting Finance applications.
  • Explore AI solutions within the NetSuite environment and cross-platform relationships to improve efficiency.
  • Work directly with Finance stakeholders to scope, challenge, and refine requirements.
  • Translate Finance and Accounting requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain SuiteScript customisations, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, and reports.
  • Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and other business systems.
  • Lead release management and testing cycles.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Ensure system configuration supports financial controls, segregation of duties, and audit requirements across all entities.
  • Maintain clear documentation, including configuration runbooks, access control logs, and change records.
  • Drive automation and standardisation across entities.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions.
  • Manage roles, permissions, workflows, and system integrity.
  • Manage external NetSuite partners and ensure cost-efficient use of consultants.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience (required)
  • Strong experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and NetSuite customisation (required)
  • Experience designing and implementing ERP enhancements independently (required)
  • Good understanding of Finance and Accounting processes (required)
  • Experience supporting Accounting, Financial Reporting, and FP&A functions (required)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (required)
  • Structured and governance-oriented (required)
  • NetSuite Administrator certification (nice-to-have)
  • Adaptive Planning experience (nice-to-have)
  • SQL and API integration experience (nice-to-have)
  • Experience working with reporting and analytics platforms (nice-to-have)
  • Background in financial controls, internal audit, or compliance-driven environments (nice-to-have)
  • Experience in a multi-entity international business (nice-to-have)
  • Experience within online gaming, technology, or other fast-growing digital businesses (nice-to-have)
  • Exposure to integrations (APIs, middleware) (nice-to-have)
