NOC Engineer
Join a dynamic team of NOC engineers dedicated to providing 24x7 monitoring for all systems to ensure the best gaming experience for customers. In addition to monitoring, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing technical issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal service quality.
The role focuses on automation and AI-driven tools to streamline processes and continuously seeks ways to enhance systems and stay on top of technology. This is an on-site position in Sliema, which includes a highly attractive and competitive shift allowance.
- Automating processes and leveraging AI-based tools to make tasks more efficient and predictive.
- Exploring AI/ML-driven monitoring and anomaly detection to identify potential issues before they impact service.
- Assisting in the evaluation and adoption of AI-assisted tools for incident triage, root cause analysis, and knowledge base generation.
- Acting as a focal point for outages until restoration, facilitating communication with stakeholders as necessary.
- Maintaining, escalating, and updating NOC related tickets whilst ensuring that new and updated existing knowledge base articles are documented.
- Delivering on KPIs set internally as well as adhering to SLAs with regard to service delivery to other departments.
- Certificate management.
- Using ITIL best practice to handle service requests, incidents, and change requests.
- Knowledge of networking essentials (required).
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems (required).
- Experience in working with monitoring tools (required).
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts as applied to IT operations (AIOps) - e.g. anomaly detection, predictive alerting (required).
- Interest in or exposure to AI-powered tools for log analysis, ticket triage, or root cause analysis (required).
- Experience working with cloud platforms (required).
- Knowledge of DNS & SSL Termination and domain management (required).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts (required).
