Senior QA Engineer - Core NL
LeoVegas is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join the Core Experience Markets Team. The role focuses on enhancing global customer onboarding processes and developing responsible gaming features to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience across all brands.
The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening the Netherlands sites and apps by collaborating with stakeholders to define effective testing scopes. Working within an Agile environment, the engineer will partner with backend, frontend, and native app developers to deliver high-quality, reliable, and user-oriented products.
- Driving high-impact outcomes by leading complex, ambitious projects and resolving critical issues that directly influence business quality and performance.
- Elevating engineering quality across the company through mentoring, sponsorship and delivering constructive technical feedback.
- Shaping testing strategy and architecture by leading test design for complex problems, ensuring reliability, observability and alignment with business priorities.
- Communicating risks, insights and technical considerations clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders, contributing meaningfully to roadmaps and planning.
- Uplifting QA practices across squads by promoting best practices, anticipating issues through strong processes and enabling others to improve testing for performance, scale and security.
- Deep knowledge of testing theory, design techniques, methodologies, and the testing pyramid (required)
- Hands-on web E2E test automation experience with Playwright (or similar tools) using TypeScript or JavaScript (required)
- Hands-on native mobile E2E test automation experience with Appium and WebdriverIO (or similar tools) using TypeScript or JavaScript (required)
- Proven ability to design and execute full-stack test plans and robust manual testing for web and native mobile applications (required)
- Solid grounding in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and DevOps methodologies within self-organizing teams (required)
- ISTQB certification (Foundation Level or higher) (nice-to-have)
- Hands-on experience with test management tools like TestRail (nice-to-have)
- Practical experience maintaining and optimizing automated testing within CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with microservice architectures (Java/Kotlin, Kafka, MySQL, REST APIs, BigQuery) (nice-to-have)
- Experience building automated API tests and working with mock data or virtualization tools (nice-to-have)
- Prior experience in the iGaming industry (nice-to-have)
- Leadership experience in driving test strategies, setting best practices, and steering QA projects (nice-to-have)
