Director of Engineering
Light & Wonder is hiring a Director of Engineering to join its team. This role will be responsible for coordinating teams, ensuring that the teams are aligned, and projects are moving along on schedule, among other things.
The Director of Engineering is required to oversee both front-end and back-end development teams and their deliverables. They will monitor the reliability and performance of all internal processes and improve them, while also ensuring compliance with security regulations. The director must ensure software development teams are effectively managed by setting goals, timelines, and specific objectives. Based on the company’s overall objectives and resources, the director has to develop strategies for future projects. They are responsible for hiring and coordinating the on-boarding of new engineers within the team, and the employment of innovative technologies. Coordination with external stakeholders for new integrations and tools is also a key part of the role.
